NYS Certified 47-Hour Firearms Training Course

• Shotgun & rifle familiarization

Whether you’re new to firearms or experienced, our low-pressure, professional training approach ensures every student builds confidence and skill.

🎯 Course Requirements

To successfully complete the course, participants must:

• Pass all shooting qualifications (minimum 70%)
• Pass the written exam
• Attend ALL scheduled training days

📋 Eligibility Requirements

To register, you must have:

• A valid NYS Security Guard License
• A valid NYS Pistol Permit

• $725.00 (training, range time, targets & safety equipment included)
• Ammo not included – Approximately 700 rounds required

Weekend 1:

• Friday 6/5: 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Saturday 6/6: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Sunday 6/7: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Monday 6/8: 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Weekend 2:

• Friday 6/12: 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Saturday 6/13: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Sunday 6/14: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Monday 6/15: 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM

🎓 Certification

Students who successfully complete all requirements will receive a Course Completion Certificate, qualifying them for armed security guard status in New York State.
