NYS Armed Security Guards
This course fulfills the annual firearms training requirement for NYS Armed Security Guards.
Course Requirements
Participants must successfully complete:
- Use of Force lecture and review
- 10-question written examination — 70% minimum passing score
- 50-round firearms qualification — 70% minimum passing score (35 of 50 rounds)
What to Bring
- Firearm carried for duty
- Holster
- 50 rounds of ammunition
- Required identification and licenses
